General Information

1.1 Relevant Dates

• ALL Entry Forms in Section 10 are due before Friday 1 August, 1997.
• A late fee of $30 will be charged for late entries.
• If the event is over-subscribed, preference will be given to teams entered first.
• Please ensure that entry forms are sent with all necessary information completed.
• Dates for Scrutineering and Race Days and Venue will be announced by separate fliers.

1st. Scrutineering - Friday

" THE EVENT " (Race days) - Saturday to Sunday

1.2 Decisions and Interpretations

• Made by the Event Organising Committee, Chief Scrutineer, Chief Judge, or Track Marshall will be final.
• If changes are made to rules, the event organisers will attempt to notify all teams who have officially entered the event.

1.3 Liability

Please read the Release and Indemnity Clauses 9.1 to 9.9 of this book.

• Is not accepted by event organisers or sponsors for any articles that may be lost, stolen or damaged during the meeting.
• Is not accepted by event organisers or sponsors for any bodily damage or injury sustained during or in connection with the event.
• Teams are strongly advised to take out their own property and/ or personal accident insurance. e.g. Ambulance cover.

1.4 Rights of Organisers

• The organisers reserve the right to abandon, cancel, postpone or modify the competition in thecase of unforeseen circumstances.
• The organisers reserve the right to exclude, disqualify, and/ or otherwise penalise any team gaining, (in the opinion of the Track Marshall), unfair advantage as a result of a breach of these regulations, hindrance of other competitors, departure from normal actions, or any act capable of misrepresenting performance.

1.5 Rights of Event Sponsors

• The organisers reserve the right to display event sponsors' signage.
• Where teams wish to display team sponsors' signage (either directly or indirectly), at the venue,permission must be granted from event organisers prior to the event.
• Event sponsors' signage must at all times take preference over teams' sponsors signage, and teams must be prepared to move, or cover up their signage if so directed by event organisers. The Australian International Pedal Prix Management Group reserves the right to remove any advertising, logos or other material that is deemed to be offensive to Event Organisers, Sponsors and the general public at the Australian International Pedal Prix Event.
