Release and Indemnity Clauses

IMPORTANT - PLEASE PHOTOCOPY TO ALL PARTICIPANTS AND PARENTS/ CAREGIVERS

To be read by all competitors.

FORM "D" CONSENT FORM, MUST be signed by parent/ guardian/ care giver, if child is under the age of 18 years.

9.1. I acknowledge that I shall take part in the Australian International Pedal Prix ("The Event"), at my own risk and I agree that none of the organisers and sponsors of the event, together with any of or damage suffered by me or any of my property during the event or as a result of my involvement in it.

9.2. I hereby indemnify the promoters, organisers and sponsors jointly and severally against all claims, demands, actions and costs arising from any loss, damage, or injury suffered by me or to property whether or not such loss, damage or injury is caused by or arises out of the negligence of the promoters or any of them.

9.3. I hereby acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for my personal possessions and athletic equipment during the event and its related activities.

9.4. I hereby acknowledge that participation in the event carries with it potential hazard and I release the promoters, organisers and volunteers from any from any liability resulting from injury or death during the event and its related activities.

9.5. I hereby attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the event.

9.6. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and or illness during the event.

9.7. I hereby permit the free use of my name and picture, team name, institution / school name to which I attend, in broadcasts, telecasts and the press as they pertain to the event.

9.8. I understand that my team's entry fee is non-transferable, and in the event that my team is unable to participate in this event, a refund will not be issued, unless 4 weeks cancellation notice has been given to the Australian International Pedal Prix Management Group, before the race days.

9.9. I understand that, if any action on my part, or if any action of my team members' part, are deemed by "the Event" organisers to be in breach of good conduct at "the Event", safe conduct during "the Event "and its related activities, then penalties to myself or the team, may include exclusion or even disqualification to be reluctantly enforced by the Australian International Pedal Prix Management Group, Officials and their volunteers.
